Steve Lovett has been entertaining since the age of 11, when he first started playing guitar in his father’s country music band – The Convoys. When the lead singer left the band, Steve stepped in as lead vocalist and changed the name to The Ramblers.
Steve also had a strong passion for rockabilly which to this day comes across within his sets. He formed The Niteshift Trio with a some of his school friends – which became very popular around the clubs and lead to a record deal with Fury Records. Their album was very well received around Europe and thy set off on the road touring.
After great success playing in the rockabilly clubs, it was time for a change – this is when Steve decided to become a full-time solo artiste, playing major holiday venues over the country performing various types of music, but his love for country music never went away.
Steve now performs as a professional solo act or as a duo (Rancher) all over the country with a wide repertoire of country music, from classics to the latest line dance floor-fillers.
